Welcome to Standard Hockey Club, established in 1986 as a hockey club competing in the various Midlands Hockey Leagues, based in Pietermaritzburg. All the leagues for 2002 have been completed and we are well into Summer League already.
Being a mixed club means there's a ton of fun to be had on and off the park and this is what the club ultimately strives to achieve through fund raisers, social tournaments and the regular pint on a wednesday at "The Hoq" - this is where the wheels of many a person have fallen off.
